Mari started her career at a communication strategy firm, sharpening her skills in strategic communication. Driven by her entrepreneurial spirit, she subsequently founded Aalto International (with global footprints in Singapore, Kyoto, and Germany) - a specialized firm committed to providing tailored communication strategies for technology brands . After acquiring profound experience in Europe, Mari returned to Kyoto for working on research. Currently, she is delving into the nexus of technology, business, and society, aiming to uncover new insights and pathways.

His research focuses on immigration policy in Japan, with a focus on the policymaking process, immigration control policy, and the politics of immigration. Maximilien holds a master's degree in international relations from Ritsumeikan University, and his research has led to numerous publications.
